Copyright Policy

Tongue Coins lets players create puzzles and upload their own photographs. We respect copyright and expect our users to do the same. This page explains how to report content that infringes your rights, how to file a counter notice, and how we handle repeat infringers.

Filing a notice

So that we can act quickly, your notice should include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
2. Identification of the material in the app you are asking us to remove, with enough detail for us to locate it. A puzzle's share link or a screenshot is the simplest way.
3. Your contact details: full name, email address, and a phone number or address if available.
4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner or by law.
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
6. Your signature, physical or electronic.

What happens next

• We review every notice and remove infringing content within 24 hours of receiving a valid one.
• The creator who uploaded the content is notified of the removal and its reason.
• The removal is written to our moderation audit log, together with who performed it and when.

Counter notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter notice to the same address. It should identify the removed material, give your contact details, and state that you believe in good faith that the material was removed in error. We will forward your counter notice to the original complainant, and absent legal proceedings we may restore the content.

Repeat infringer policy

This policy is enforced automatically by the system rather than case by case, so that it applies equally to everyone. A removal reversed following a valid counter notice does not count.

AI generated content

Content produced with AI tools is subject to the same rules. Uploading such content does not relieve the uploader of the responsibility to ensure it does not infringe third party rights.

Misuse of this process

Knowingly filing a notice about content that is not infringing may expose you to liability. Please make sure you are the rights holder, or authorised to act for them, before contacting us.

Governing law

The service is operated from Israel and is governed by Israeli law. We operate the procedure described here for notices brought under other copyright regimes as well, including the US DMCA, regardless of where the sender is based.
